PDRRMO–ASSERT IAO Responds to Fire Incident in General Luna

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Surigao del Norte (PDRRMO–SDN), through Abante Surigao Search and Rescue Team (ASSERT) - IAO, promptly responded to a reported residential fire incident in Brgy. Poblacion III, General Luna.

Upon receipt of the incident, PDRRMO–SDN immediately deployed the Firewolf Fire Truck and one (1) ambulance to augment ongoing fire suppression and emergency response operations. The team worked in close coordination with responding units from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and local responders to ensure swift containment and scene management.

The incident involved residential structures, affecting a total of three (3) families and six (6) individuals, with two (2) houses burned covering an estimated 65 square meters. Fire was declared under control at 10:40 AM and fire out at 10:42 AM.

No injuries, fatalities, or missing persons were reported.
